How it works

What happens
after you say yes.

No ambiguity, no chasing, no missed deadlines. Every step of the production pipeline is designed around one goal: you keep showing up, we handle the rest.

Step by Step

Six steps from
handshake to upload.

Every engagement follows the same structure. You always know where you are, what's happening next, and who to contact if something needs to change.

Onboarding call.

15 minutes
We book a 15-minute call before anything else. Not a sales call — a working call. We go through your channel, your style references, your non-negotiables, and the format of the first batch of videos. You describe the feel you're going for; we ask the questions that would take three rounds of edits to surface otherwise. This call is the reason our first drafts land close. Most editors skip it. We don't.

You send the footage.

Your tools
Send raw files through whatever you already use — Google Drive, Dropbox, Frame.io, WeTransfer. No new software to learn. Include any reference clips, brand assets, music preferences, or a short voice memo explaining what you were going for in the recording. The more context you share, the less we have to guess. A two-minute voice note saves an entire revision round.

First draft in 48 hours.

Turnaround
Within 48 hours of receiving your footage, a private review link lands in your inbox via Frame.io. This is a complete first draft — not a rough cut, not a placeholder. It includes all the structural edits, the pacing, colour, and audio treatment. It's ready to publish if you're happy with it. Most drafts go to upload after one round of revisions, not two. We aim to get it right the first time.

Revisions via timestamps.

2 rounds included
Leave timestamped comments directly on the video inside Frame.io. No email chains, no screenshots of screenshots. You say "at 2:14, tighten the cut" and we see exactly what you mean. Two full rounds of revisions are included in every engagement — additional rounds are available at a flat rate. Every revision round is returned within 24 hours. No waiting days to see a small change.

Final delivery, same day.

Upload-ready
Once you approve the final cut, the finished file is delivered the same day. MP4, optimised for YouTube. No watermarks. If you need additional export formats — vertical cuts for Shorts or Reels, audio-only for a podcast feed — those are included in select plans or available as a simple add-on. Everything arrives labelled and ready to drag into YouTube Studio.

Ongoing: same editor, every video.

Long-term
You work with the same editor for every video. Not a rotating pool, not whoever's available that week — the same person who learned your style in the onboarding call, remembers what you didn't like in round two of the first video, and gets better at your content every single month. The longer we work together, the fewer notes you leave. That's the goal.
The Specifics

Numbers that
matter to creators.

48H
First Draft

From the moment your footage arrives, a complete first draft is in your inbox in under 48 hours. Not a rough cut — a ready-to-review video.

2
Revision Rounds

Two full rounds included in every plan. Each revision returned within 24 hours. Additional rounds available at a flat per-round rate.

15min
Onboarding Call

A focused 15-minute working call before the first edit. We cover your style, your format, and the non-negotiables. It replaces three rounds of guesswork.

1
Dedicated Editor

You always work with the same editor. Same person, every video, for the life of the engagement. No handoffs, no reintroductions, no lost style context.

Communication

How we stay
in sync without
cluttering your inbox.

Everything is async by default. You don't need to be available at a specific time. Notes land where they make sense, responses come back fast, and nothing falls through the cracks.

During Production
Frame.io for all feedback
Timestamped comments directly on the video. No email thread trying to describe a moment. You point, we see it exactly.
One shared delivery link
Every draft and revision of a given video lives in the same link. No hunting for "the right version" across email threads.
24-hour response on notes
Leave feedback at any hour. Revision turnaround is 24 hours from when the notes are submitted, consistently.
Ongoing & Operational
Email for handoffs
New footage and final delivery confirmations go through email — one thread per month, clean and easy to reference.
Monthly check-in call
A 20-minute optional monthly call for long-term clients — channel performance, upcoming content themes, anything that's shifted.
No Slack, no Discord
We deliberately don't use real-time chat channels. They blur availability expectations and create unnecessary urgency around things that can wait 24 hours.
Questions

What people ask
before they sign.

Anything common: MP4, MOV, MXF, or even ProRes. If you shoot on a smartphone, DSLR, mirrorless, or a dedicated camera — we've worked with all of it. The only ask is that the footage is recorded at the highest quality setting your device supports. We can work with a shaky GoPro if that's what you have, but we'll always let you know if the source material limits what the edit can do.
That's what revision rounds are for. Leave timestamped notes in Frame.io and we'll address every point in the next pass — returned within 24 hours. Two rounds are included in every plan. If after both rounds it still isn't right, we have a conversation. In practice, this has happened once in several years of client work. The onboarding call is specifically designed to prevent it.
Monthly plans can be paused or cancelled with 14 days notice. No penalty, no awkward conversation, no contractual hoops. All finished files are yours — there's no licensing clause or export lock. If life changes and you need to step back from posting for two months, pause the plan. When you're ready to start again, we pick up where we left off.
Yes. If you send more footage than your plan covers, each additional video is billed at a flat per-video rate that's agreed upfront. No negotiation in the middle of the month, no surprises on the invoice. We'd rather you record more — it's what we're here for. Just send the footage with a note that it's an add-on and we'll confirm the cost before starting.
Captions are included — auto-generated and cleaned to 95%+ accuracy. Thumbnail design is available as a service depending on your plan. YouTube Studio publishing, title copywriting, and description optimisation are offered as an add-on for clients who want a fully hands-off workflow. If you want to hand us the keys and only touch the channel for recording, that's possible. We'll walk through it during onboarding.
Ready to start

The first step is
a 15-minute call.

Book the onboarding call. We'll go through your channel, your format, and what you need. If it's a fit, the first video lands in your inbox within 48 hours of your first footage drop.
